This spring the USTA and TIA will be launching a national campaign aimed at promoting tennis and increasing the number of frequent players through a non-branded portal: playtennis.com.

playtennis.com will offer consumers a one-stop-shop to learn about new equipment, where to find facilities, retailers, programs, players and importantly, qualified instruction.
As part of Tennis Thanks The Troops, the USPTA and ThanksUSA have teamed up to encourage USPTA professionals to work with their students and club members  to help fund scholarships for the families of military men and women.

Like all Americans, tennis professionals appreciate the sacrifices that our military and their families make every day. Now there’s a way for the pros to show their appreciation by raising money to fund scholarships for those in uniform and their spouses and children.

How you can help
We’re asking tennis pros to collect at least $5 from every player, fan and guest through tournaments/contests, lessons, silent auctions and even setting out empty tennis ball containers for donations. Or any other challenges that best fit your club.
